The event organized by the RECAP cluster (Wood2Wood Project, BIO4EEB, CompSTLar, iBot4CRMs, ICARUS) brought together researchers, industry representatives, and policymakers to explore how AI, robotics, digital twins, circular materials, and industrial innovation can accelerate Europe’s green transition across manufacturing industries.
A key topic of discussion was advanced separation and sorting technologies for construction and demolition waste valorisation, which is highly relevant to the work we are doing in CIRCULess.

✅ Digital technologies are becoming essential in circularity and decision-making across industrial value chains.
✅ High-quality material recovery remains a critical challenge, which requires advanced sorting and separation technologies to increase the usability of secondary raw materials from construction and demolition waste.
