👉 We are pleased to share that CIRCULess was represented at ECPPM 2026 in Cardiff on 9th September 2026, contributing to discussions on how digitalisation and integrated information can support more circular approaches in the construction sector.

🎤 During the conference, Tron Erlend Tronsen from ASEMlab/Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) presented the paper:

“Towards a BIM-enabled Circular Pathway: Integrating Product Data, Process Intelligence and Logistics”

♻️ The presentation highlighted an important challenge in circular construction, which is, knowing what materials are available does not necessarily tell us what can practically be done with them. Effective decisions on reuse, refurbishment, remanufacturing and recycling require the integration of three interconnected information streams:

🔹 Product information – what materials and components are available

🔹 Process information – what can be done with them

🔹 Logistics information – what is practically feasible

📍 Participation in international scientific events such as ECPPM 2026 provides an important opportunity to disseminate CIRCULess research, strengthen knowledge exchange and contribute to the transition towards a more circular, digital and resource-efficient construction sector.
