👉 We are pleased to share that CIRCULess was showcased at the 80th RILEM Association Annual Week, held in Nairobi, Kenya; the first RILEM Annual Week to be hosted in Africa. As part of the event, the RILEM TC-321 “Upcycling Mineral Wastes” organised a pre-conference doctoral course, bringing together researchers and experts to exchange knowledge and discuss pathways towards true circularity in the construction sector.

📍 Our partner, University of Hertfordshire – Antonios Kanellopoulos, shared CIRCULess’s work on advancing the upcycling of mineral and timber waste streams into valuable secondary resources, highlighting the project’s contribution to a more circular and resource-efficient construction sector. ♻️

💡 CIRCULess was showcased on several occasions throughout the event, creating valuable opportunities for international knowledge exchange and discussions around reducing the environmental and socio-economic impacts of construction. Through participation in global scientific events such as RILEM, CIRCULess continues to strengthen its international network and contribute to the transition towards circular construction materials and practices. 🤝🌱
